County Waterford offers a wide range of festivals and events throughout the year. Look out your skates and start the year enjoying Waterford on Ice at the People's Park in Waterford City. Alternatively, end the year enjoying Waterford on Ice - it starts early in December and carries on into early January! In February, the Waterford New Music Week presents a vigorous programme of workshops and masterclasses of contemporary music. A primary aim of this festival is to demonstrate that contemporary music, while challenging, can also be fun and stimulating.
